The Tonga Dress
The Tonga Dress
1970s Hibiscus Print | Cotton-Viscose Blend | Handmade in Sweden
The Tonga is a piece of 1970s sunshine. I rescued this vibrant hibiscus print from a vintage curtain and transformed it into a dress that’s made for the heat. The cotton-viscose blend gives it that perfect vintage "drape"—it’s soft, breathable, and moves with a beautiful, heavy flow.
The Vibe: Retro-cool meets island ease. It’s the dress you pack for a getaway or wear on the first truly hot day of the year. With its bold floral pattern and easy silhouette, it doesn’t need much else—just some sandals and a bit of sun.

The Amaluha Truth: This fabric spent the last fifty years catching the light in a room somewhere; now it’s ready to see the world. Because it’s a vintage textile, it has a character that modern prints can’t touch. Any tiny sign of its journey is just part of the story—it’s upcycled, one-of-a-kind, and full of life.
Care: 40° wash. Easy and breezy.
